Our Environment

National Children's Museum
Washington, DC

After first developing the exhibition master plan for the new National Children's Museum, Amaze Design now has the pleasure to work with them to bring the plan to fruition with a signature Environment Gallery that focuses on "connecting kids to nature." Utilizing the research of David Sobel and Richard Luv, luminaries in the fields of environmental education, the new gallery seeks to engage kids with nature in everyday ways, while simultaneously celebrating the vast environmental diversity of the United States. Whether sliding through a glacier or drifting through a mangrove forest, or simply peeking under a rock in a backyard, children and families will discover the interconnectedness of the natural world and their place within it.
