Billings Farm and Museum

Woodstock, Vermont

Nestled in Vermont’s first and only National Park, Billings Farm and Museum is a working dairy farm, historic site and educational museum of agricultural and rural life. The farm operates in a tradition of stewardship over 130 years old within the 943-acre Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.

Amaze Design worked with both the farm and the National Park to develop a common mission: to welcome visitors to the grounds and to help them plan their visit. We designed a new visitor center where patrons begin their experience by obtaining tickets
to either the outdoor sites or to the indoor interpretive experience.

Exhibits include Upon This Land, and a three-dimensional “Family Album,” which forms a gently curving multi-layered wall lining one side of the gallery.

Size: 1,500 sf.
