ECHO at the Leahy Center for
Lake Champlain

Burlington, Vermont

Set within Burlington’s historic waterfront, with a sweeping view of the lake and the Adirondack Mountains, the Lake Champlain Science Center examines the relationship between people and the health of the Lake Champlain region over time.

Amaze Design developed a holistic science center experience that blends history and folklore, current scientific research, natural history, heritage tourism, and environmental stewardship. Within the Center, there are 12,000 gallons of aquariums, an exhibit where visitors may walk through a river’s edge habitat, a theater, a 20-foot water wall, and an exhibit focusing on the history of Burlington’s waterfront.
