Amaze Design created the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific in order to reveal the wonderful habitats and species diversity found in the far “corners” of the Pacific Ocean. The Aquarium's three permanent galleries immerse visitors in the temperate waters of Southern California and Baja; the ice-laden coastal waters of Russia and Japan; and the spectacular reefs of Micronesia. The Aquarium of the Pacific features an extensive variety of living exhibits and hands-on learning labs that house harbor seals, sea lions, giant spider crabs, kelp forests, diving birds, huge sharks and elaborate coral reefs.
