The Master plan for L'aquarium identified facility and exhibition upgrades aimed at increasing visitation numbers. Phase one, Explora!, is geared for budding aquatic biologists aged three to eight and features playful interactive environments inspired by local ecology. In Explora!, live animal habitats are augmented with crawl-through views, peep-hole magnifiers, and active experiences aimed at active learners.
