The Florida Aquarium was designed from the inside out; that is, the design of the exhibition experience gave rise to the architectural shell. Highlights of the facility include a “dive” through a dark and mysterious coral cave, a tunnel through a reef of the Dry Tortugas, and a living mangrove forest that thrives under a conservatory-like dome.
