Situated on 17 acres overlooking downtown Denver, Ocean Journey presents the story of two rivers a world apart - the Colorado River of the American southwest, and Indonesia's Kampar River. In Ocean Journey, visitors are immersed in the sights, sounds and smells of streams, wetlands, rivers and estuaries. Amaze Design crafted the experience to include a human-made desert reservoir, a dry arroyo that periodically floods with torrents of rushing water, a tropical rainstorm, a riverbank inhabited by Sumatran tigers, and two remarkably different “dives” into the Pacific Ocean.
