This state-of-the-art exhibit and performance facility in the heart of Pittsburgh's Cultural District is a gallery space presenting exhibits that interpret, and preserve the thriving art, culture, and history of African Americans in Western Pennsylvania. The exhibits will be a key element of the Center’s rich array of educational and public programs. Utilizing layered, multi-dimensional, interactive, and innovative techniques, the exhibits will engage visitors, enhance public knowledge and appreciation, build cultural pride, and encourage learning through the arts in support of the Center’s overall vision.
